Simplified layout mode
Simplified layout mode in the Slack desktop app helps you focus by showing one section of Slack at a time. It minimizes distractions, which may help single-taskers and people using assistive technology, such as eye tracking or a head mouse.
Turn it on or off
- Click your profile picture in the sidebar to open the user menu.
- Select Preferences from the menu.
- Select Accessibility from the list.
- Under Simplified layout mode, select Turn on or Turn off.
